Karate Croc from Brutal: Paws of Fury

Part 10/24 of my Amiga tribute project >3

Moving on to one of my favourite genres, fighting games yay >D and more specifically Brutal: Paws of Fury
Yeahm, it's really very surprising I picked a fighting game with all charas being anthro animals, eh |D
Though it might be surprising for some that I picked Karate Croc over Foxy Roxy who is the fan favourite, but we'll get to that later :XD:

About the game, while it might not be the best one around, it was still a nice piece of work, it's also one of those multi platform Amiga games, which have also appeared on SNES, Genesis, hell, it even had an upgraded version with 2 additional charas for PC and 32X.
And while it lacked the awesome gameplay of SF2 or MK2, and the hitboxes were desperately in need of improvement not to mention executing attack is the air which was almost impossible, but it was one of the first more serious tries at being more technical with the fighting system, for one the difficulty level started very low, but raised higher as you progressed through the game at a very decent pace, so you weren't suddenly pitted against impossible opponents, but rather stedily faced harder and harder ones, the other things are the special moves, it's one thing that you learned them progressively after every 2 matches, but these were actually easier to combo than in other games, hell, many of the last moves were actually combinations of normal and special moves, more like the Super Combos we know today, and three, after each match, you got a summary of the fight's progress, with many statistics to tell you how you've done, etc. at first it was also supposed to have a "level up" system, where certain stats of your chara would be raised depending on what you did during the fight (like your attack raises the more successful hits you perform, your defense raises the more hits you take, your speed raises the more attacks you perform during the round, etc.), but in the end it was too much and was scrapped. So all in all, it's at least worth checking out ^^

And then there's the character issue ^^; yeah, I can't say I haven't considered Foxy for this spot ^^;
But for one, it's not like the characters are just anthro animals made for furries to fap, believe it or not, they actually have their own backstories. I wonder how many fans of Foxy Roxy even knew she's a politician when she's not busy fighting in shady tournaments >:3 and two, I'm going to draw Foxy Roxy anyways since I have planned to do so for some time, so all her fans will definitely see her in my gallery anyway >D
So yeah, I chose Croc for the spot instead, for one, because he was the non-boss hidden character, and that always boosted the badassness factor of a character back in the days |D aside from that, he was the biggest badass even without the boost, the stance, the attacks, all other moves, he looked really awesome, at least for me |D plus, he's a bar brawler and dojo buster, not sure how he makes a living out of it, but he sure was one of the first such charas back in the days |D
