Whew, this is one of those arts that took faaaaaar too much time than it should >>"
For one, this is actually ~OPPAI-SAMA's GGGCXtournament prize... which ended quite a while ago. Granted, ~OPPAI-SAMA chose Asura, yet at first chose the "Asura The Destructor" form, one which is really bloody high detailed, yet the "clearest" possible ref image is this - images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__c… and OK, I know I have worked with some obscure shit in the past, but THIS, is far beyond my skills, hell, just the "regular", far less detailed six-armed version was a killer to draw, and I had a really big and clear reference for this one...
In any case, after both me and ~OPPAI-SAMA failed to find any suitable reference for the Destructor, he decided to change his decision for the six-arme version, which like I said, was still a killer to draw... hell, Ruin was surely no cakewalk but was actually easier than this |D

For one, it was really hard to find a suitable pose, one which would show off his badassness and all, yet be still enough so that the crapload of details wouldn't spoil it, the patterns on his pants weren't too hard, and quite interetsing to draw actually, the patterns on his greaves were the challenging part, the belt also took too much than it should, the chest was also pretty challenging to draw, with the patterns and all, heh, then came the arms, that was one of the hardest parts, since drawing a character with 6 of 'em was new to me, I had a hard time placing all of them so they wouldn't blend into eachother too much, that and they are detailed even more than his chest or legs, so it was hard to draw them so they would still be clear. Hehe, with all that, drawing the head with his usual pissed-off look was pretty damn easy |D

In any case, I'm really proud of this pic in the end >3 I think it was worth every minute I spent on finishing it, so I hope ~OPPAI-SAMA will find it worth the wait |3
