The point was to draw a character chosen for us by the group's admin, not by ourselves. Well, I got this rather obscure gal, and I wouldn't be surprised if you never even heard about her.

No, she is not CHun-Li, she's her crazy robot doppelganger/clone thingie called Shadow Lady, who's sole appearance was as a hidden character in MVC1. Much like Agent SHadow in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, she was a rather lazy design, or more specifically, a sprite of an already existing character colored darker... yet unlike AGent Shadow, who was basically a darker colored Charlie, Shadow Lady did not copy CHunny's moveset but had one of her own.

And that's where the fun part comes, you see, I did plan on drawing Chun-Li eventually, so when this came up, I had to put some thought into it to make Shadow Lady look sifferent enougyh, since a Chunny pic in my style would look very similar, save for the pose which would most likely be different. And it actually didn't take me long to get an idea what to do, use her special moves, duh XD
So, why miss Thinder-Thighs has her fireball, multiple kicks and flying spinning kick, Shadow Lady has missiles coming out of her back, has a huge-ass drill hidden in her hands and can generate electricity around her body. And so, I began experimenting with various poses and special move combinations. This was actually the only challenging part, so many choices, and I had to pick just one XD more so, since I could really go ild with the pose here, hehe, I could draw Chunny's body in all kinds of twisted poses the real Chunny would never do XD but in the end I decided to go for the creepily hunched over one, to showcase the hatch from which the missiles come out, and giving myself some space to put the drill arm XD
All in all, I really had a lot of fun drawing this piece and I hope you guys will like it ^^
