Viewer used COMMENT. It's super effective (*hint*hint*).

This very day, 25 years ago, Street Fighter I hit the arcades, damn, time sure flies by... I can still remember myself as a youngster, seeing SF2 for the first time... getting my ass kicked numerous times before I could finally play properly... kicking asses of other youngsters who just started and were learning to play the game properly... some of you might not know that feeling because back in the days it took more than writing an angry e-mail when you got tour ass kicked, nor did we have the internet as our co-pilot, we actually had to LEARN to play, all on our own. U mad?

Anyways, aside from being the first fighting game series as we know 'em (before SF1, there was only International karate, which was more of a simulator than a fighting game), SF also made quite a huge character roster along the way, be it the main series, spin-offs made by other companies (SF EX which was made by Arika), or even some rather obscure and random titles (like SF: The Movie: The Game or SF 2010), and interestingly enough, they did create quite a few of character models/archetypes used (or cloned) by other companies to this very day (most notably the "shotos" >D). You may love it or hate it, but you can't deny that the SF series made the biggest impact on the fighting game world, and is still one of the best series around >D

As for this art, well, some of you might remember me doing a similar thing with the Guilty Gear cast - [link] , hehe, it just seems to me like the newcomers in this series keep appearing like new Pokemon, and if this goes on like that, soon we might have a full 150 set :XD: though of course the SF's roster is a few times bigger than the GG one... so it was quite a challenge to draw all of these, more so since I don't do normal arts all that often... but after all this time of hard work, I must say I'm pretty satisfied with how it looks ^^ hope you all like it as well and leave a comment, it would be really appreciated ^^

Last row - Kevin Striker, Captain Sawada, Blade, Khyber, Arkane & F7

Hehe, I'm pretty curious, how many of you will try to guess which characater is whi Pokemon >D

Fans of the series probably recognize most (if not all) of these, though one might not know some of the more obscure ones, like the SF EX cast, who were all made by Arika, and as such do not belong to capcom and can't be used by Capcom, or some of the alternate versions, which only appeared in one game (like Shadow in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, or Shadow Lady in MVC1), and then ther's Fallen vega who only ever appeared in Cannon Spike, a shooting game made by Psikyo with some capcom characters (but likt with the SF EX cast, this version of Vega does not belong to Capcom), and of course, there's Kevin, who only appeared in SF 2010 a very obscure NES platformer, and a bloody hard one at that, some might also not know about him, because in the American version, he was changed into Ken masters who enchanced his body with cyber-implants... hooray for American bullshit translations... anyways, Kevin and Ken are two completely different characters. And last but not least... or maybe still... there's the SF: The Movie: the Game cast, which consists of Ryu+Guile mix, Sawada, and Sf's very own "colored ninja" set... yeah, Bison's multicolored soldiers are pretty much the same as MK's multicolored ninjas... they're pretty much edit characters using the same sprite but with a few different moves... but when MK ninjas actually were awesome characters despite the edit'ness, these guys are pretty much just plain boring |D

I never thought of D. Dark being Bisharp or SFEX2 Kairi being Zoroark. Hell, i personally associate Zoroark more with Akuma.
