The Meanest Machine

Dick Dastardly & his faithful companion (or rather partner in crime) Muttley in their ever so awesome vehicle, the Mean Machine from Wacky Races.


What can I say, good ol' Dick (full name, Richard Milhous Dastardly) is one of the most awesome and badass villains ever (and one of my ultimate favourites at that), so it was just a matter of time before I drew this guy >3

Besides, like I said, this year I wanted to practice drawing some new things, and I really wanted to practice drawing a car, but it couldn't be just any car, so the cartoony Mean Machine along with it's devious pair of drivers was an obvious choice >3 so whaddya think?

And as a fun fact, Dick was actually based on two other villains, his Wacky Races debut was based on Professor Fate (played by Jack Lemmon) from The Great Race, and his second look in Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines was based on Sir. Percival Ware-Armitage (played by Terry-Thomas) from Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, which are prime examples of pure badass villainy (heh, they don't do them villains as awesome as they used to nowdays...) so such a mix just had to become one of the awesomest villains ever >D
